Revisiting old photos: Japan
Sometimes I like to look at my old photos, and try to see them with my present eyes. It’s incredible to discover how often our style and artistic opinion has changed during many years.
This time I went back to my Japan trips (2014-2016) and play a bit with some “leftovers” photos that didn’t make the cut to the final collection, however, with a bit of editing and re-composing I was able to spark something out of them… even if they are not technically sounds or well composed.
I discovered I had few street photos that had very interesting subjects and composition. This exercise remind me also how much I miss Japan aesthetic and light, everything about that place speak to me photographically.
Gear: for the 2014 trip I had my Canon 6D, with 35mm, 135mm. For 2016 my Fuji x-t2 16mm f1.4, 35mm f2, 90mm f2.
